A fictional convenient store that examines the lives of Third Culture Kids (T.C.K) — Thesis Project

The project aims to create a common space for those who are culturally ambiguous, through sharing stories and experiences with others alike in an attempt to embrace challenges together and create a greater understanding of others around us. Celebrating and embracing those whose identities are connected to a fusion of cultures — not one or multiple but a blend of many. Through sharing T.C.K experiences as a fictional convenient store with products that hold a deeper meaning, we can add a celebratory note to the notion of third culture and identity.

The products in T.C.K Convenient becomes a medium to unfold personal stories of third culture experience, ingredients and flavours from one’s childhood, culture, travels and influences from other flavours and tastes as people travel and move around the world — reflecting the third culture lifestyle.
