Natural Habitat is the editorial arm of home scenting company Vitruvi.

Natural Habitat is a rebrand project from Vitruvi's online blog "Basenotes.” It’s an editorial platform that explores what it means to be at home–in our bodies, in our spaces, and in our world.

It was important for the branding to work for both web and print, as it was in the plans to launch an editorial issue down the line. Therefore the brand typography was carefully chosen to work well in print. The colours are inspired by nature and our homes, we wanted distinct colours for each category – Bodies, Spaces and World.

The arch shape is at the centre of the branding, utilized in the logo, social templates and editorial issue. Arches are a symbol of deep resonance, grounded in the roots of architecture. It serves as an entrance to our home and stories, it represents the door between time and space through which one passes to enter another world.
